Holy Week is week of reflection on the events leading up to Jesus’ death. We remember his actions, reflect on his messages, and recommit to living as his disciples in the world today. It begins with Palm Sunday: Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem; progresses through Maundy Thursday: his Last Supper with his twelve apostles; and Good Friday: his crucifixion, death, and burial. It culminates with Easter Sunday, a celebration of the day Jesus rose from the dead. Easter symbolizes forgiveness, rebirth, and God’s victory over sin and death.
